The Machinist

they have tried hard to make a movie that seems realistic to audience, i think they have reached to their goal and of course they have, but to be frank with you it didn't inspire me. the story is awfully predictable for not only those who have a high iq but for everyone involved with cinema somehow.

accidentally i watched this movie just after a week i have watched Fight Club -a movie by David Fincher - for the second time and what a coincidence! both movies are based on schizophrenia and its involvement with the main character. Even from this point of view, Machinist is a bad copy of Fight Club with a new story.

Christian Bale's acting is really impressive. he has dropped weight down about 30kg to make this film, one can of tuna and an apple per a day, fair enough! his body is really disgusting specially in a scene we found him bowed in front of a mirror. maybe the director wanted him to have a thin body as Edward Norton!

I was tortured by grief of this movie! he's right, nobody has never died from insomnia

Inception

Nothing is exact. Everything is relative. Everything is calculated upon something else.time.space.reality.dream.

"Christopher Nolan had made another miracle..."

THIS QUOTE IS NOT MINE.this is qoute of those who love Nolan's works patrioticly and accept everything he makes. He is their legend.Yeah.He is the Kubrik of the 21th century.

Memento,Insomnia,Batman Begins, The Prestige, The Dark Knight...these are the miracles of the new young prophet of cinema.

but Inception is exception, from my point of view...

We watched it together...Me and Hesam...the first scene shocked me.the cinematography was aweful...the scene when Dicaprio is driven to the shore and the drops of water splash to the lens of camerea...

In the coming is some awesome acts from Dicaprio and Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon.

The idea is captured from the real world.

I don't want to spoil the whole movie.

just some sparks.

The theory of Layering of dreams was something really noble and true...and the bringing the idea to the screen is at the best form.the visual effects are perfect...and the concept and philosophy of the events are all deserve to discuss.

On and On...the film is perfect.I like it...but not LOVE it.so watch it and take the energy of these days prophet!

Doodlebug

If you have watched other movies of him, i bet this one won't shock u! His ideas is the reason of the common structure of his movies playing with the meaning of time, man being, the life after death or the things that seems strange and full of mysteries. He wants his audience think, he wanna to involve them in this maze, if you are one of his fans, congratulations! there is no escape! you should get used to this kind of cinema.

specially in this movie, we found an anxious character watching around himself and searching for the object has made him nervous. at one scene when the phone rings and he puts it into the water we feel the importance of the matter and his will to find the insect (the name i put on that object, on that bug). after some other scenes we found that the insect is himself in little size and he wants to get rid of himself by killing it.

after the kick of the shoe we see another man behind the main character that is bigger than previous one but in fact he is the same person and a kick with a shoe happens again and movie ends.

i said there is no escape, maybe this kind of view is a bit annoying for those who love Chris Nolan and his movies, but i mean, the object of his movies is a bit predictable and of course it isn't a weak point for his works and cinema.
being special always has side effects... i think this is the side effect

Moulin Rouge! (2001)

Moulin Rouge!

Yeah...French Names and titles always make me feel romantic...like La vie en Rose or Memoir or A good year...but this movie was something really special...

One day... me and Hesam were listening to some Jukebox musics...and then we were shock with one track...the voices were so familiar...we looked up for the names and then Ivan McGregor a and Nicole Kidman showed themselves to us...but we didn't know that the track was one the soundtracks of a musical movie...2 years later I saw the cover of Moulin Rouge in a website and saw McGregor and Kidman in front and kissing...Just remember the track and guessed that this must be the movie that we were looking for...

So I download the HD version and watched it carefully...

the first 40minutes of the film is like all cliche' romantic movies but then beat of the movie turns to some high class..powerful romantic story and the actors and the acts take you to the location of Momantre,Paris in the Moulin Rouge! Show.

The Show must Go On part changes everything...Anybody who has heard the famous "Show Must Go On" single from the Queen feels really diffrent when Zidler and Satine sing the song...

The Writer and the Director wants to carry the message of life through bitter end love that no diffrence what may come in your life...but always keep this message in your mind that You must continue because the SHOW MUST GO ON...that we are the real actors of this world and who acts better will be remain in memories for ever and the most important thing in the world is to love and to be loved in return.

Aladdin

What a great and superb industry it is!!!!??

I Love Walt Disney with its wonderful stories behind the hands of the greatest animators ever in the world.

I watched the HD version of the film.I don't wanna say anything about the story of Aladdin.but wanna talk about how excellent these creators and writers and animators of the movie transfer every aspects and attributes of a human being only by some words and some simple moves.Lie,jealousness, frank, truth, being yourself, love and blah blah blah.

It is released in1992 but it is like that movie of 2000.with high technics and high sense of humor that makes the person who watches laugh to the ground and cry to the sky.

They have obeyed ancient arabian-iranian culture and theme and have mixed it with some elements of todays cultures, especially in the scenes of Genie.

The Voice of Genie is one advantage and powerful point of view.Robin Williams is behind that voice and has performed his job really well.

I want you to watch the film yourself and comment me the result.

Vicky Christina Barcelona

One afternoon, when I and Hesam were watching Trailer.Hesam saw the title Vicky Christina Barcelona(VCB) and asked me to watch the trailer.I opened it and at first the cast exhilirated us...Javier Bardem(No Country For Old Men)...Scarlett Johanson(The Island)....Penelope Cruz(Volver)

Then as the film was playing on,one scene shocked us....WOW...Scarlett and Penelope were kissing eachother.Hesam paused the trailer, and from then on, we banned the film.

3days ago I saw the axxo rip version of the movie in a site and told myself...Hey man,Be open minded, first watch the movie and then decide to ban in or not.so I Download it and one sweet afternoon I watched it carefully.

At the end I felt so disgusted that it took 2 days to recover mentally.

I don't know enough info about Woody Allen and his Character but overall in this film he just ruins the definition of love so bad that when an Allen Fan watches the movie, definitely he or she would be upset about the film....

But on the otherside...If we close eyes on the topic and the subject that is discussed in the film, the acts are good...the location is really beautiful....I told myself after this film that you must one day go and visit Barcelona.

The Stoning of Soraya Manouchehri

When you want to watch a perfect movie, there must be a lot of good elements that come together and make the film smooth and elegant.
Soraya M is one of those. Perfectly chosen cast, perfect cinematography, perfect editing, excellent acts and blablabla.

The film is about the first years of Iran's 1979 revolution, The location is one of western cities of Iran. It is based on a true story and from the first minute it takes you to the situation itself and you become one of the characters.

The main focus in the film is on how restrict and rigid would Islam be, if it is controlled by hands of some Ignorant clergymen.

There were some negative points in the film that bothered me.
for example, The film implies that all muslims are some strict people that the don't feel anything and only try to follow the rules of Islam without a logical reason. It could show a bright side of Islam too.Suppose that a foreigner who doesn't have any information about Islam watches the movie and see how a past criminal-clergyman does anything in the name of Islam.how would his vision of Islam would be after the film.

But the unique parts of the movie that effects all other elements is the powerful act of Shohreh Aghdashlu. She has the characteristics and attitude of a real Iranian woman.

Overall the movie is remarkable and is deserved to be watched for several times.

New York,I Love You

I love this man.You know who I am talking about, don't you?

I AM TALKING ABOUT FATIH AKIN.

director of Head-on. one of the best movies of my life. I hope you have seen it.

ok. I just watched his (Akin) latest movie. It was really different. Several directors had been working on it and the outcome was really remarkable. Little taste of love in every minute gives you energy to just live your life and seek the love of your one. I really enjoyed the film, the cast was perfectly chosen and each episode was one of it's own. The music takes you to the context and the cinematography was smooth.

I enjoyed 4 episodes of it.Can you guess it?!!

The Hotel: The act of Shia Labouf was as always perfect and I can't dear to say anything about madame Julie Christie.

The musician: The script was the way I liked it and it has a personal reason why I liked it

The painter: The part that Fatih directed it and the forbidden love is clearly noticeable.

and the last episode,The Grands: The directors want to say that the pure love can maintain until the last moment of your life.

And my last point is about the title of the movie. It is not only about New York but also about the city that you live in.The scenes of streets and the dialogues between the people in the street reminds me of Paulo Coelo's quote about the city."You must make yourself lost in a strange city to find the ones who have the signs of life in them and then you will find yourself in them
